B. Diljanoff - short bio

Dilyanoff always says they’ve been influenced by their community, culture and sounds of their hometown. In fact, their rapid rise as a well-known Classical Musician couldn’t have happened without these powerful influences.

Their signature style has made their musical instantly recognizable, and extremely popular. Their greatest desire is to create music that speaks to as wide a selection of fans as possible.

B. Dilyanoff was born in the town of Sofia, Bulgaria. She has studied piano since the age of 7. She studied pedagogy, opera singing, piano, musicology and organ at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sofia. She has studied at the Plovdiv University of Music, Franz Schubert Konservatorium, Universität Wien - Faqultät für Musikwissenschaft and Diözesankonservatorium für Kirchenmusik. She assists and takes composition lessons from the famous Austrian composer and musicologist prof. Helmut Neumann, and conducting with acad. prof. Vasil Kazandjiev.
Bistra Dilyanoff has many years of professional experience as a conductor, producer, pianist and teacher. So far she has released 5 CDs as conductor, composer and pianist. Founder and conductor of the international orchestra Austro-Bulgarian Artproject, co-founder of the International Melodrama Society and the Klangrehe Institut Wien.
She has participated in conferences and composer forums in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy.
